Yogie and Friends will be holding a Paint your Pumpkin Day, Saturday, 25 October 2008, from 2 - 4 P.M. Children ages 6 - 12 can come to Yogie and Friends, located at 128 Fob Lane, Frierson, Louisiana on 25 October and paint a pumpkin. Prizes will be awarded to the best pumpkins. Space is limited for the pumpkin painting. At 4:30 P.M. you can watch the staff at Yogie and Friends give the big cats (lions, tigers, cougars, and others) a large, clean pumpkin to play with. Cost of the event is $6, which includes supplies and admission to the park to see the big cats. General admission ages 13 and up is $5,children 4 - 12 is $4, children 3 and under are free. Yogie and Friends is open Saturday's only from 10 A.M. - 5 P.M. (weather permitting). For more information on Louisiana's only big cat rescue visit www.yogieandfriends.org or call 318-795-0455. |
