Yogie and Friends currently has 2 full-time animal caregivers, 3 part-time animal caregivers, 15 volunteers operating in different capacities, over 100 Community Service Workers/Air Force volunteers who donate their time and labor each year. Animal Caregivers are responsible for the daily care of a number of different species. These duties include: sanitizing enclosures, feeding, making daily observations, and creating enrichment programs, as well as providing healthcare treatment under veterinary supervision. Animal caregivers are also responsible for record keeping. Volunteers maintain the grounds and assist in office management, direct mail and fundraising projects. They also help out with enclosure construction and with the delivery of feed and other supplies. Community Service Workers/Air Force Volunteers assist in maintaining grounds and construction of enclosures and buildings under the direction of a full-time staff member.
