From Shreveport, take I-49 south to exit 191(Frierson/Stonewall).

Turn left, go under the interstate and continue for 3.4 miles.

There will be a sharp right turn, so be careful. Turn right on Fob Lane just past the apartments and you will find the sanctuary  200 feet on your right.

This is less than 20 minutes from the Shreveport water tower near 3132. We hope to see you very soon!

What you need to know before you visit the sanctuary.

The Rules

1. Absolutely NO running.

2. NO unescorted children.

3. Parents MUST remain with their children at ALL times.

4. NO individuals are allowed inside the inner fences near the cages.

5. NO smoking on the property.

6. NO pets allowed.

7. NO glass containers.

8. NO weapons.

9. Absolutely NO teasing, yelling, shouting, or throwing of any object at any animals on the grounds. This includes any of the caged animals, domestics and indigenous wild animals.

10. NO camera tripods. Some cats see this as an aggressive weapon and get scared.

11. NO umbrellas. Umbrellas scare the cats. Shade umbrellas are provided in various locations on site for the visitors to stand or sit under.

When you come to Yogie and Friends Exotic Cat Sanctuary™ please remember that you are visiting the home of animals that have come from neglected or abused homes. They are here to feel safe, loved, and wanted. These are not circus performers or showbiz animals and they are not here to entertain us. Because many of these animals are very sensitive we want to respect their home and their dignity. Our staff will and does all that is necessary to ensure our cats have a stress free life and environment. We will escort any visitor from the premises who does not respect the dignity of these wonderful animals or attempts to cause them any harm or undue stress. Safety of the animals is first and foremost for us. We appreciate your cooperation.
